Pilates International teaches students through a combination of face-to-face instruction, on-the-job experience and self-directed study. Students are assessed in line with the principles of competency based training.

To study either the Diploma, the Certificate IV you’ll first need to have the following pre-requisites:

• Your HSC or equivalent
• A minimum of 30 hours in Pilates practical sessions
• Successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology unit HLTAP301A (or equivalent)

To study the Advanced Diploma you’ll first need to have the following pre-requisite:

• Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW), or equivalent.

Due to the highly physical nature of Pilates instruction, Pilates International reserves the right to refuse admission if there is reasonable evidence that an applicant is physically incapable of carrying out the normal requirements of a Pilates training program.
