Pilates International teaches students through a combination of face-to-face instruction, on-the-job experience and self-directed study. Students are assessed in line with the principles of competency based training.

Courses available are Matwork Accreditation, Certificate IV in Pilates Instruction (91121NSW) and the Diploma of Professional Pilates Practice (91120NSW).

To study either the Diploma, the Certificate IV or the Matwork Accreditation, you’ll first need to have the following pre-requisites:

• Your HSC or equivalent
• A minimum of 60 hours in Pilates practical sessions
• Successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 (or equivalent)

Due to the highly physical nature of Pilates instruction, Pilates International reserves the right to refuse admission if there is reasonable evidence that an applicant is physically incapable of carrying out the normal requirements of a Pilates training program.
